Hydrogen Center Mukran

Infrastructure project

On the island of Rügen lies the Mukran Port, Germany's northernmost seaport. Here the TransHyDE project Mukran is developing an innovative high-pressure spherical storage facility for hydroseration. This is to be used on the high seas during the course of the project. The goal is to integrate H2Mare's Offshore Plant in order to save the Green Hydrogen produced there. In addition, the spherical storage facility should also be tested in use as a transport container. So Mukran will transport hydrogen by ship to Hamburg as a test.
