Planning the construction of a 10 MW electrolyzer

In the future, Westfalen Weser wants to use surplus wind energy to generate green hydrogen to power industry and hydrogen filling stations. The municipal energy service provider plans to build a 10 MW electrolyzer in the energy city of Lichtenau together with Stadtwerke Lichtenau GmbH. In addition, grid-friendly storage will be tested in order to gradually reduce the local wind turbines.
