The main project goal is to develop a modular blueprint for a decentralized energy and heat transition at the district level. As a project partner, gridX is responsible for the integration of all decentralized energy consumers and producers, as well as for setting up the SmartQuart Hub as a district operating system. Here, local and cross-district controls as well as the monitoring of the energy devices installed in the districts are implemented. The functions in the area of control and monitoring are developed on the basis of the use cases defined jointly with the project partners and continuously improved over the course of the real-world laboratory project.
