NRW.Energy4Climate is the state company for energy and climate protection in North Rhine-Westphalia. It pools forces and resources in the four sectors with the highest emissions: energy, industry, heat & buildings and mobility, which together are responsible for more than 90 percent of greenhouse gas emissions in NRW. The aim is to accelerate the transformation across sectors so that North Rhine-Westphalia becomes climate-neutral as quickly as possible and at the same time strengthens itself as an industrial and service location for the future. NRW.Energy4Climate supports the development of the hydrogen economy in North Rhine-Westphalia. The state company initiates and supports innovative projects for the decarbonization of industry, the energy industry, district heating and mobility. The development of a hydrogen network with connections to hydrogen storage facilities and import ports is also supported. The headquarters and the Düsseldorf/Mettmann district regional office of NRW.Energy4Climate are located in the EUREF campus near Düsseldorf Airport.
