Hydrogen production in the Hansa Business Park Münster

Hydrogen to supply the Fraunhofer FFB Battery Cell Research Facility

The Fraunhofer Research Production Battery Cell FFB is planned as the main customer of the electrolysis plant that will go into operation in the Hansa Business Park in 2025. In addition, Stadtnetze Münster GmbH is examining the feeding or mixing of the green hydrogen into the natural gas network. Converting existing natural gas pipelines to hydrogen or building new hydrogen pipelines is also being considered. Technologieförderung Münster GmbH is supporting the project. It commissioned a feasibility study to map the concept along the entire value chain, from the generation of electricity to the production and use of green hydrogen.
