Hydrogen production

In order to be able to investigate the performance of such innovative systems in terms of applications in an industry-relevant environment, the goal of this project is to develop a high-pressure electrolyser test stand that is not commercially available in this form today and demonstrates the innovative technological approach of the consortium. The demonstrator test stand should be part of the new hydrogen technology centers of the firm iGas energy in Stolberg. The hydrogen produced in test operation will be manufactured in order to make it usable for future applications. H2 production will be CO2-free as the energy will come from renewable sources.
