H2 workshop Rheinberg

By applying for the state competition “Model Region Hydrogen Mobility NRW”, the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis has positioned itself together with a total of seven cities and districts with the concept “H2R - Hydrogen Rhineland”. Now, after a further analysis and a basic study, both of which have specified the topic as part of REGIONALE 2025, three local authorities are aligning their common goal with the H2Werkstatt RheinBerg: the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis, the Oberbergischer Kreis and the city of Leverkusen. This is how the regional hydrogen competencies are to be linked. The newly founded “H2Werkstatt RheinBerg” will be on the path to becoming a hydrogen competence center, the H2Kompetenzzentrum, by the end of 2023.
