Infrastructure project
The aim of the project is to develop an axial compressor for the properties of CO2, a molecularly heavy gas. The technology developed here for the compression of heavy gases by means of a large axial compressor is also suitable for use in large-scale production plants for the compression of hydrocarbons, natural gas and nitrogen oxides or hydrogen.
