Implementations project CAMPFIRE - Ammonia energy transport system for import, medium load and dynamic conversion

Hydrogen production

The CAMPFIRE alliance was founded as part of the funding program “WIR! - Change through innovation in the region” of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The aim is to research and develop new energy conversion and storage technologies for the future energy system based on green ammonia. In the future, utilization threads for exportable high-tech technologies are to be set up by the regional small and medium-sized companies in the north-east region. By producing CAMPFIRE technologies in the north-east region, an energy industry based on green ammonia and a carbon-free, secure energy supply will be possible in the Baltic region, Europe and overseas. There are long-term effective and economic ways to reduce global carbon dioxide levels in the earth's atmosphere.
