Innovation Project
TransHyDE_FP5
standardization, norms and certification
Infrastructure project
The TransHyDE lead project initiated by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) strives for the practical introduction of transport, distribution and storage options for hydrogen and other chemical energies. In addition to the technical and regulatory requirements, this requires uniform specifications in the form of norms, standards and certification programs. The TransHyDE research network "Norming, Standardization and Certification" examines these aspects holistically, in order to identify regulatory gaps and develop solutions. At the same time, the TransHyDE projects should demonstrate the feasibility of four different transport technologies. They thus deliver the practical results of the five TransHyDE research networks. The TransHyDE research network "Norming, Standardization and Certification" is to be funded overall by the BMBF with around €1.2 million and involves six partners. The DVGW e. V. takes over the overall coordination and responsibility for pipeline-based hydrogen transport.
