Tecklenburg Region Hydrogen Network

SWTE Netz, the network company of Stadtwerke Tecklenburger Land, and Westnetz are planning to set up an efficient hydrogen distribution network in the communities of Hörstel, Hopsten, Ibbenbüren, Lotte, Mettingen, Recke and Westerkappeln. In a demand survey, 30 major consumers of natural gas as well as active or potential hydrogen producers in the region already reported great interest in a hydrogen supply. Due to the high demand, SWTE Netz and Westnetz are working on the next steps to establish H2 structures in pilot regions.
