The central project objective is the development of a modular blueprint for a decentralised energy and heat transition at neighbourhood level.

Innogy SE will set up a project management structure. From a technical point of view, innogy SE will be involved in the development of the use cases, the establishment and operation of an ICT infrastructure and the systemic interconnection of the neighbourhoods. All neighbourhoods will be realised in their development under the work package management of innogy. The identified potential for connection use will be harmonised, documented and utilised by innogy. In addition, innogy is responsible for the bundled public relations work.
