In this project, water and fuel cell technology will be implemented in combination with accumulators on push boats. The hybrid propulsion for regional transport in Berlin and Brandenburg as well as for supra-regional journeys to Hamburg will be realised as a combination of fuel cell technology and accumulators, whereby the dimensioning of the individual components will be analysed in terms of economic efficiency by varying the percentage of energy supply. For the energy supply of the push boat, the infrastructural conditions must be examined and taken into account. Hydrogen from renewable energy sources is favoured for the fuel cells.
