IN4climate.RR

The IN4climate.RR project aims to make the Rhineland region (RR) a model region for a climate-neutral industry. Together with other stakeholders such as companies, research institutions, politics, intermediaries and civil society organizations, IN4climate.RR is developing local strategies on how industry can maintain its competitiveness in the future, generate growth and at the same time achieve climate protection goals - in order to put these into direct practice. IN4climate.NRW and the Wuppertal Institute are using the structures and project experience they have successfully built up in recent years to jointly link research and companies in the Rhineland region to the state-wide, national and international adjacent processes and transformation developments. The focus will be on work in future laboratories on the topics of industrial hydrogen economy, sustainable carbon economy and circular value creation, which are of crucial importance for a future climate-neutral industry. In these fields, the key institutions in the region are networked, strategies are developed and, with a view to the overall objective of the transformation process, additional projects along strategic lines are initiated, acquired and their implementation accelerated.
