Hydrogen Pipeline

Hydrogen pipeline network

Air Liquide

The existing hydrogen network in the Rhine-Ruhr region, operated by Air Liquide, is the largest hydrogen network in Germany and runs from Castrop-Rauxel via Marl to Leverkusen. The network has a total length of 240 kilometres. In addition to Air Liquide's hydrogen network, which has already existed for several decades, further hydrogen pipelines are planned in Germany and Europe for the Climate Neutrality 2045 project.
