HyDrive OWL

The city of Bielefeld and the districts of Lippe and Minden-Lübbecke won the federal competition "HyLand - Hydrogen Regions in Germany" with their project outline for a greener mobility sector. In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute ISE, the partners are now developing a concept until July 2021 that takes a strategic look at how hydrogen can be produced and used sustainably. In the "HyDrive OWL" project, the assessment of technical and economic feasibility is therefore an important component. The focus is on regional value chains. For a sustainable strategy, the concept also includes stakeholders from the production, storage and distribution as well as consumers of hydrogen.
