The five-year project aims to create a Europe-wide innovation cluster. The H2UB connects start-ups with established companies and research institutions from North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany and Europe. With various digital and analog event offers, innovative matchmaking formats and an accelerator program specifically geared towards start-ups, the H2UB connects the dynamics of the scene with the previously strong research- and corporate-driven economy. The headquarters are in Essen, and further locations in North Rhine-Westphalia and other federal states are planned.
