The five-year project is intended to create an innovation cluster with Europe-wide impact. The H2UB connects start-ups with established companies and research institutions from North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany and Europe. With various digital and analogue event offerings, innovative matchmaking formats and an accelerator programme specifically geared towards start-ups, the H2UB connects the dynamics of the scene with the hydrogen economy, which has so far been strongly research- and company-driven. The H2UB is headquartered in Essen, with further locations planned in North Rhine-Westphalia and other federal states.
