H2.Ruhr

E.ON, Enel, Iberdrola, ABB and SAP are working together to build an industrial green hydrogen value chain to serve the European market. The partners are leveraging their competitive advantage in developing renewable energy in Southern Europe to supply green hydrogen and green ammonia to the industrial centers in Central and Northern Europe - with a particular focus on the Ruhr region. The German part of the project, called H2.Ruhr, involves the construction of a regional hydrogen pipeline infrastructure with direct connections to a wide range of consumers in the Ruhr region.
