H2.Ruhr

E.ON, Enel, Iberdrola, ABB and SAP are working together to build an industrial value chain for green hydrogen to serve the European market. In doing so, the partners are using their competitive advantage in the development of renewable energies in Southern Europe to supply the industrial centres in Central and Northern Europe with green hydrogen as well as green ammonia - with a special focus on the Ruhr region. The German part of the project, called H2.Ruhr, involves the construction of a regional hydrogen pipeline infrastructure with direct connection to a wide range of consumers in the Ruhr area.
