Innovation Project

H2Giga_QT6.1_HyLeiT

Cost-optimised system technology and grid integration of systems for the production of green hydrogen

Hydrogen production

The goal of the H2Giga project HyLeiT is a new generation of electrolysis converters and electrical system technology for hydrogen electrolysis. Compared to the current state of the art, new technologies should halve the system costs of electrical engineering from the grid connection point to the DC connection at the electrolyser, and increase reliability, safety and electrical energy quality. The entire chain of effects from the electrical grid to gas distribution, the embedding in scenarios with 100% renewable energy and the worldwide applicability are to be taken into account.
