Innovation Project

H2Giga_QT5.1_HyPLANT100

Development of optimised and automated processes and standards for the construction of large-scale water electrolysers

Hydrogen production

In order to meet Germany's demand for green hydrogen, large capacities of efficient, cost-effective electrolysers are needed. Although efficient electrolysers are already on the market today, their production is still largely done by hand. The H2Giga lead project will therefore support the mass production of electrolysers. Together, established electrolyser manufacturers, suppliers from various technology sectors, including many medium-sized and small companies, as well as research institutions and universities are advancing existing electrolysis technologies.
