The project addresses the following questions: Supply, demand and infrastructure: Which transformation paths can the currently natural gas-based infrastructure in Germany take under developing supply and demand quantities of CO2-neutral hydrogen and which cost-optimal supply of a gas mix (natural gas and hydrogen) arises to satisfy demand? Where can hydrogen be used well and what demands arise?
