The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT develops system solutions for the networked, adaptive production of sustainable and resource-saving products and the associated services. In the field of hydrogen research, the building blocks of the hydrogen economy are therefore found as research priorities: energy converters such as electrolysers and fuel cells as well as pressure tanks as energy storage systems, but also battery technology.
