Innovation Project
ETSAP-Germany
German Scientific Monitoring of the IEA Technology Collaboration Programme on Energy Technology System Analysis
Other
The 'Energy Technology Systems Analysis Programme (ETSAP)' of the International Energy Agency (IEA) was initiated as a Technology Collaboration Programme (TCP) in order to advance the further development of the global energy system through a systems analysis approach by investigating current energy policy issues and thus to support the IEA and its member countries in an advisory capacity.
The aim of the sub-project is to provide cost potential curves for green hydrogen from selected regions worldwide, taking into account the suitability of locations for synfuels, for the TIAM world model by means of model extension. For this purpose, a contribution is made to the evaluation of the worldwide potential of renewable energies, a comparison is made with the E-TechDB with regard to the H2 process chain and a workshop is organised on the import potential of emission-free energy sources for Germany and Europe.
