Cologne University of Technology

Themes from the field of hydrogen research are largely dealt with at the Cologne Institute for Renewable Energy (CIRE) and the Institute for Automation Technology (IA). CIRE combines teaching and research in an interdisciplinary way. At CIRE, the focus of research is on innovative components and systems for the use of renewable energies with the goal of a complete supply with renewable energies. This also includes the system integration of hydrogen technologies. The competences of the IA lie, among other things, in the development of complex automation systems.
