CatVIC

Catalytic valorisation of industrial carbon

Hydrogen production

The CatVIC (Catalytic Valorization of Industrial Carbon) project is a Franco-German initiative supported by the French and German research ministries MESRI and BMBF respectively. The CatVIC project is funded by ANR and BMBF and started in October 2019.

The project aims to develop a highly innovative power-to-X system based on the production of green hydrogen using high-temperature electrolysis technology and advanced catalytic options for the valorisation of unavoidable CO2 emissions from energy-intensive industries.
