VOLTH2 Gelsenkirchen

At the Gelsenkirchen Climate Port, VoltH2 is planning a facility to produce green hydrogen with a capacity of 10 to 20 MW. This project is part of Germany’s HyPerformer II program. The hydrogen will be supplied on-site for use in buses, trucks, and passenger cars, among other applications, as well as to businesses in the region. The project is intended to contribute to the decarbonization of mobility and industry, as well as to the sustainable development of the Klimahafen. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2028.
