The tkH2Steel project by thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG is establishing climate-neutral steel production in North Rhine-Westphalia. Through the wide use of hydrogen, climate-friendly steel production of the future is becoming a reality step by step. The process envisaged here will replace the steel production previously based on coking coal and thus make an important contribution to climate protection.
