SOC-Degradation 2.0
Electrolysers and fuel cells based on solid oxide electrolytes achieve the highest efficiency compared to alkaline or PEM systems. The problem is that SOC technology is less durable and less robust than the less efficient alternatives. The SOC Degradation 2.0 project is helping to increase the reliability and service life of SOFC and SOEC systems by providing a better understanding of the degradation mechanisms and developing strategies to mitigate them.
