Self-generated hydrogen in welding processes

Hartmann Edelstahlrohre GmbH operates a 30 kW electrolysis plant for the production of hydrogen, which is filled into 300 bar cylinder bundles and used in production for welding and annealing processes. Hydrogen production is powered by a 328 kWp photovoltaic system, which primarily uses surplus electricity generated at weekends.
