PEM electrolyser in the H2 Application Lab
The H2 Application Lab at Münster University of Applied Sciences uses a proton exchange membrane electrolyser (PEM) for the flexible production of hydrogen from renewable energies. The aim is to optimise storage and compression for efficient integration into existing energy systems. Research focuses on increasing efficiency, reconversion into electricity using fuel cells and integration into variable grids, among other things.
