O2Hamm

The use of hydrogen is a key component of a climate-neutral industry. But the byproducts generated in the process also offer significant opportunities. This is precisely where O2Hamm comes in: The project’s goal is to systematically examine oxygen produced through electrolysis and make it usable for the regional economy.
As part of O2Hamm, specific applications for oxygen are being identified, and viable supply and utilization concepts are being developed for Hamm and the Ruhr region. The project is supported by Fraunhofer IEG and Trianel GmbH.
