Innovation Project

Multi-SOFC at the Herrmann-Josef Hospital Erkelenz (sub-project B: Hermann-Josef Foundation Erkelenz)

Coupling of new Hydrosserts technologies at the Hermann-Josef-Hospital in Erkelenz

Hydrogen production

The Hermann-Josef-Krankenhaus (HJK) Erkelenz is a showcase project for the climate-friendly energy supply of the future. Robert Bosch GmbH and Hydrogenious LOHC NRW GmbH are demonstrating for the first time at the HJK the coupling of new hydroseration technologies on an economically relevant scale. The project makes a contribution to the energy transition and is one of the major projects in the Rhineland region that are intended to contribute to structural change with their research results. The Helmholtz Cluster Hydrogen (HC-H2), which emerged from the Jülich Research Center and is sustainably supported by it, is coordinating the demonstration project.
