Climate-neutral clinker production Janinhoff

The Janinhoff brick and clinker factories are among the 15 winners of the first round of German climate protection agreements for the conversion to climate-neutral production processes. At its Münster site, the brick and clinker works are planning a comprehensive conversion of its firing processes to hydrogen in order to significantly reduce emissions. In addition, further measures to decarbonize the production process are to be implemented. These include the energy optimization of the drying processes with the aid of high-temperature heat pumps and the shutdown of the micro gas plants.
