R&D Projects
SolidScore – Biological hydrogen production from biomass solids
The SolidScore research project uses innovative biohydrogen technology to expand the existing range of aqueous starting substrates used for biological hydrogen production. Against this background, the project is investigating the suitability of residues such as biowaste and agricultural or plant residues with a dry residue (DR) > 10%. The SolidScore project aims to significantly expand the range of residual materials that can be used as substrates and thus the applicability of the process. In addition, the implementation of dark fermentation in bioenergy plants leads to an increase in overall efficiency.
