Electrolysers
joint project: SolidScore
Biological hydrogen production from biomass solids; Sub-project: Application and optimization of biological hydrogen production to an expanded range of residues
Hydrogen production
In the SolidScore research project, the existing spectrum of aqueous starting substrates previously used for biological hydrogen production is being expanded with the help of innovative biohydrogen technology. Against this background, the extent to which residual materials, such as organic waste and agricultural or plant residues, with a dry residue (DR) > 10% are suitable is being investigated. The SolidScore project aims to significantly expand the range of residual materials of the usable substrates and thus the applicability of the process. In addition, the implementation of dark fermentation in bioenergy plants leads to an increase in overall efficiency.
