HyConnect

The “Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components” (PEM) department at RWTH Aachen University is collaborating with several partners on the “HyConnect” research project to develop a digital platform that enables the efficient use of existing and future hydrogen infrastructure. The goal is to significantly reduce costs and increase the appeal of hydrogen applications. The innovative platform provides for the reservation of refueling station capacity as well as complete payment processing, thereby creating transparency and planning certainty. These factors are considered crucial, especially for the market ramp-up of hydrogen technologies. The offering is designed to be scalable for the EU single market and to support the goal of establishing a comprehensive hydrogen infrastructure.
