Innovation Project

H2Giga_QT1.1

Project network for the optimistic material development for technical H2 production through improved oxygen electrodes

Hydrogen production

To be able to cover Germany's need for green hydrogen, we need large capacities and efficient, cost-effective electrolyzers. Although there are already powerful electrolyzers on the market today, they are still mostly manufactured by hand. The H2Giga lead project will therefore support the serial production of electrolyzers. Together, established electrolyzer manufacturers, suppliers from various technology areas, including many medium-sized and small companies, as well as research institutes and universities are further advancing existing electrolysis technologies.
