H2Giga_NG3_HY-Core

The HY-Core project aims to scale AEM electrolysis from laboratory scale to megawatt scale by ensuring high operational stability and resilience. The modular system consists of several connectable stacks, enabling flexibility and cost-efficient production of hydrogen directly from renewable energy sources. AEM electrolysis represents the latest development in the series of electrolysis technologies. Its goal is to combine the strengths of PEM electrolysis, including the use of a polymer membrane, with the advantages of alkaline electrolysis, primarily the avoidance of expensive precious metals as catalysts.
