Electrolyser H2 Bedburg
H2 Bedburg is a joint project between the town of Bedburg and RWE involving an electrolyser for producing hydrogen, a filling station for industrial and private use, and a hydrogen filling station. The green hydrogen will be supplied to local public transport, which is being converted to hydrogen, and local businesses. The plant, with a capacity of around 5 megawatts, is scheduled to go into operation in the Mühlenerft industrial park at the end of 2026. Subsequent expansion stages will enable a total capacity of around 15 megawatts. The project volume amounts to €7.1 million, with €4.7 million in funding.
