Electrolysers

H2 Bedburg

H2 Bedburg is a new joint project with an electrolyzer for the production of hydrogen, a filling station for industrial and private use and a hydrogen filling station.

Infrastructure project

H2 Bedburg is a joint project between RWE and the city of Bedburg with an electrolyzer for producing hydrogen, a filling station for industrial and private use and a hydrogen filling station. The location is ideal: the Mühlenerft industrial park is fully developed, conveniently located with good connections to the A61 and the electricity for producing the hydrogen can be obtained from the adjacent wind and solar park. The green hydrogen will be used by local public transport, which will be converted to hydrogen, and local companies. The plant is scheduled to go into operation in the Mühlenerft industrial park at the end of 2026 with an output of around 5 MW. Later expansion stages will make a total output of around 15 MW possible.
