The Institute of Solar Research at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) develops technologies for solar energy conversion and storage. One area of focus is thermochemical processes for solar-thermal hydrogen production. To this end, a new multifunctional solar tower was commissioned at the Jülich site in 2020.
