The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT develops system solutions for the networked, adaptive production of sustainable and resource-efficient products and the associated services. In the field of hydrogen research, the building blocks of the hydrogen economy are therefore reflected in the research focus: energy converters such as electrolyzers and fuel cells as well as pressure tanks for energy storage, but also battery technology.
