Innovation Project
ETSAP-Germany
German Scientific Support of the IEA Technology Collaboration Program on Energy Technology System Analysis
Other
The 'Energy Technology Systems Analysis Program (ETSAP)' of the International Energy Agency (IEA) was initiated as a Technology Collaboration Program (TCP) in order to drive the IEA and its member countries to provide advisory support. The goal of the project is to prepare cost-potential curves for green hydrogen from selected regions worldwide under the consideration of location availability for synfuels for the TIAM world model. To this end, contributions will be made to the evaluation of the global potential of renewable energies, a comparison will be made with the E-TechDB regarding the H2 process chain, and a workshop will be organized on the import potential of emission-free energy sources for Germany and Europe.
