DigHy

The “Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components” (PEM) department at RWTH Aachen University is developing a digitized, scalable, and sustainable hydrogen infrastructure specifically tailored to the needs of the mining industry as part of the “DigHy” research project. The primary focus is on providing a CO₂-emission-free energy supply for heavy mining vehicles using hydrogen, which is produced through electrolysis and with the help of renewable energy derived from treated mine water.
