COSIMa

The aim of the project is to prepare for the world's first climate-neutral glass production in 2030. Glass production requires temperatures of more than 1,500 degrees Celsius, which until now have been achieved primarily by burning fossil natural gas. At Saint-Gobain's production site in Herzogenrath, these processes are to be converted to hydrogen and renewable electricity.
