Cologne University of Applied Sciences

Topics in the field of hydrogen research are mostly dealt with at the Cologne Institute for Renewable Energy (CIRE) and the Institute for Automation Technology (IA). The CIRE combines teaching and research in an interdisciplinary manner. At the CIRE, the focus of research is on innovative components and systems for the use of renewable energies with the aim of a complete supply of renewable energies. This also includes the system integration of hydrogen technologies. The IA's expertise lies, among other things, in the development of complex automation systems.
